How to Use Rubber base : Step-by-Step
Step 1 - prep nails
Shape Nails:Use a180 grit nail file to shape your nails.
Push & Cut Cuticles:Push back cuticles with a pusher, apply cuticle remover andcut any excess cuticles.
Buff:Gentlybuff the surface of the nails with a buffing block to remove shine. ( Do not over file.)
Remove Dust:Using alint-free wipes and rubbing alcohol or nail cleanser
Dehydrate: Applynail bonder to dehydrate the nails and remove moisture and oils from the nail plate.
You can also do an extra step and apply acid free primer to clients who have oily nails beds and struggle with lifting.
Step 2
Apply thin layer:Apply a thin layer of rubber base gel, using it as a "slip layer" making sure to cap the free edge.
(DO NOT CURE)
Note:Do not flood cuticles or sides walls.
Step 3
Apply Bead:Place medium bead near cuticle area (DO NOT CURE).
Sweep Polish:Sweeping left to right, drag the rubber base gel to the free edge. Going from one side to the other.

Step 4
Using Liner Brush:Go around the sides and cuticle with a liner brush.DO NOT CURE
This helps as a slip layer for the rubber base gel to cover the sides and nail bed.
Step 5
Flip Nail:Help the base flow towards the center to build an apex and tap tap the back of your finger to help self level the polish.
Step 6 - Cure & Top Coat
Cure Polish: Once gel is smooth, cure for 30 seconds, use your favorite gel top coat and cure for another 60 seconds!
